Strays In Custody

Strays at the Animal Shelter

They’re Safe With Us!

These pets have been brought to our animal shelter as strays by local community members or Animal Control and are being cared for by the RHSPCA staff and volunteers.

If you don’t see your missing pet listed, please file a Lost Report with us. If you do see your pet on this list, contact us so we can help reunite you!

Please note: These pets are not available for adoption. If no owner comes forward at the end of their 7-12 day stray hold, they will need to be medically vetted and assessed behaviorally before being made available for adoption at our animal shelter. Once available, you can fill out an application to adopt the pet if you’d like!

The Have a Heart Fund provides special medical care for animals most at risk to prepare them for adoption.
