We are grateful to have the support of the City of Harrisonburg, County of Rockingham and our generous community. It is the combined efforts of our staff, volunteers, fosters, donors and supporters that make our life saving work possible.
Our Impact by the Numbers
The RHSPCA has maintained a live release rate of over 90% since 2020. We are continually implementing industry best practices and securing resources to create the best possible outcome for each animal that comes into our care.
Animal Custody Records
All animal rescues in Virginia are required to submit animal custody information annually. The records can be viewed on the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services website.
